本日発売の新譜「crossroads」ですが、お陰様で無事に発売に至ったようです。
ご予約分に関しては、今のところ「遅延」「未入荷」などの情報はなく、順調な滑り出しかと。
ただ、配送が、ショップによってまちまちで、今日の配達のところもあれば、２～３日後に配達のお店もありで、中には１週間ほどかかるところもあるようです。気長にお待ちいただければ幸いです。

まもなく発売の新譜「crossroads」、Jazz Life誌10月号にレヴューが載りました。
富澤さん、今回で担当されるのは4回目かな？相変わらずの鋭い視点で、独特の言い回しが冴えておりました。ここでもやはり「Trio Music」なのか？３誌揃っての同様のレスポンスにちょっと驚くとともに、にわかに嬉しさが込み上げてきます。

以下はレビュー後半の英訳です。

やはり、ここでも推しは「Trio Music」の３作でした。私もそれらは自信作ですが、正直に嬉しいですね。

The new album “Crossroads” will be released on September 27th, and there is a review in the jazz quarterly magazine “The Walker’s”. I could tell at a glance that the review was based on careful listening. As expected, the three works of "Trio Music" were recommended here as well. I'm also proud of them, and to be honest, I'm really happy with them.

９月９日〜１７日、東京都美術館にて、第49回AJAC展が開催されます。

ヒロオガワも２点、写真作品を展示しています。

ただいま発売中のジャズマガジン「ジャズ批評」２３５号に新譜「crossroads」の広告とレビューが掲載されています。
特にレビューが凄い！いつもは辛口の村井さんだが、本作では、手放しの讃えようで、何だか、こそばゆくなる感じ？でも聴きどころを押さえていて「何推し」かが良くわかりました。

The first time I reviewed Hiro Ogawa's CD in this magazine was "NOAH" in 2016. This new work "crossroads" begins with a remix of "PANAKEIA" that was included in "Noah". A terrifyingly technical pianist and keyboardist, I have no choice but to admire Ogawa's determination to maintain the stance of building all the backing tracks by himself. This time as well, there are fusion-funk tracks, improvisational tracks, classical-sounding songs, and progressive songs, but the quality of improvisation as a pianist is overwhelming. . 画像は、そのバックインレイの原本ですが、文字内容のみで、デザイン、フォント、レイアウトなどは、デザイナーさんにお任せなので、出来上がりが、ちょっと楽しみです♫
で、曲目とかが書かれているのですが、１曲目のリミックス以外は、全て初収録です。でも制作された時期は、1994年〜2023年までと約30年の歴史があります（昨年〜今年に入って、全てレコーディングし直しています）
一番古い作品は、works for Vln &Pf No.1(1994年）今年の作品は、Trio Music #19(2023年）
いずれにしても、同じ時間軸に共存できることが一つの奇跡のような気がしています。

草案ですが、レーベルコピーを考えました。

ジャジーでクラシカル、そしてプログレの遺伝子がざわめく劇的楽曲の数々。
ウィザードの称号を得た、キーボーディスト、ヒロオガワのプレイはホットでスパイシー。洗練された音群で紡がれた、スペーシーなサウンドが魅力のアルバム。

帯コピーもキーワードとして、「ジャズ、クラシック、プログレッシヴロック」を入れて行こうと思っています。

で、画像は、ジャケット４p（裏）に使用される予定。

It's a draft, but I thought of a label copy.

Dramatic songs with jazzy, classical, and progressive rock genes.

An attractive album with a spacey sound, spun with sophisticated sounds.

I'm thinking of including "Jazz, Classical, Progressive Rock" as keywords for the obi copy.

So, the image will be used for the book 4p (Jacket back).

新譜「crossroads」のマスタリングプルーフが上がってきました。

上々の仕上がりで、お直しもなく、進めていただくことになりました。原盤に期待が膨らみます。

今秋リリース予定の新譜「crossroads」（クロスローズ）
制作資料を契約会社に送付したところです。今作は、１曲目のリミックスを除き、全て初収録の楽曲で、最新のトリオミュージック３作（＃１７、＃１８、＃１９）など、インプロヴィゼーション主体の曲を中心に多様な音楽性を披露しています。
で、画像は、ジャケット表紙の原本なんですが、フォントやレイアウトは、デザイナーにお任せしているので、おそらく雰囲気が変わるかと。
そして、来月あたりにマスタリングが始まる予定です。

New album "crossroads" to be released this fall
I just sent the production materials to the contract company.
Except for the remix of the first track, this work is all recorded for the first time. doing.
The image is the original jacket cover, but the font and layout are left up to the designer, so the design will probably change.

6月開催の第2回AJAC京都展に出品します。

2023年秋の新譜「crossroads」の収録曲が決定しました。人気のトリオミュージック最新３作を含む全１２曲。
OPだけがremixで、残り１１曲は全て初収録です。
今回は音楽経歴が垣間見える、巧妙なセットで、ジャズ（インプロ）、クラシック、プログレッシヴロックなど影響を受けたミュージシャンやバンド、作曲家の顔が思い浮かぶほどの傾倒ぶりが見て取れるかと思われます。

例年なら、今くらいの時期に制作依頼（マスタリング、パッケージ制作など）をするところですが、CDなどの生産コストの見通しが、立っておらず（多分値上げかと）決定するまで待機です。

The songs included in the new album "crossroads" in the fall of 2023 have been decided. A total of 12 songs, including the latest 3 popular trio music. Only the OP is a remix, and the remaining 11 songs are all recorded for the first time.

This time, it is a clever set that gives a glimpse of his musical career, and it seems that you can see the devotion that you can imagine the faces of musicians, bands, and composers who have been influenced by jazz (improvisation), classical music, and progressive rock.

 If it were a normal year, I would have made a request for production (mastering, package production, etc.) around this time, but there is no estimate for the production cost of CDs, etc. (probably a price increase).

2023年のアルバム制作は、収録曲が決まっていて、順調と言いたいところだったのですが、ここに来て、ひょっとしたら「差し替えか？」という案件に発展。
最新の楽曲の出来が良くて、今回のアルバムに入れたいなと。しかし、削れる曲が、今のところ見当たらず、ちょっと困っています。他の曲とのバランスもあるしね～。
アルバムタイトルは「crossroads」でほぼ決定かな？
そして、ジャケットなどパッケージについては、ジャケ写の候補は数本あるものの、まだほとんど白紙状態です。

新年明けましておめでとうございます。旧年中は大変お世話になりました。

2023年も新作多めで、秋にアルバムをリリース予定です。ご機嫌なナンバーとこだわりの逸品で綴られた快作になる（はず）。アルバムタイトルは「crossroads(仮題）」

絵画や写真も数回、展覧会に出品予定で、こちらも制作快調、、、、、と言いたいところですが、ちと遅れております。急がなきゃ～（汗）

ヒロオガワ - リリース全１４作のジャケットです。
おかげさまで、2010年のabsolute zero から、2022年の最新作、Colors of wind まで、ほぼ毎年、発表できております。
全編キャッチーなアルバムはありませんが、中には、好評の楽曲が収められ、話題になったアルバムもございます。
とは言え、未発表曲の方が断然多く、これらは、別の機会にVIMEO,YouTube,facebook動画などで紹介させていただいております。
今後は、とりあえず2024年までに２作制作予定が入っています。どこまで続けられるか、わかりませんが、可能な限り続けていきたいと思っています。応援よろしくお願いします☺️♫🎹
